If my tackle wasn't soaked through I'd of gone out. Will insure tonight and venture out tomorrow.

Set the insurance day for tomorrow !  Can't give more money to the vultures

How much is the insurance?

I've come to the conclusion that insurance is basically a tax you've got to pay to enjoy your bike. Blood sucking leaches really.

Benefits of being older wiser and claims free, I would sooner be 21 paying 2k 😂

I've got an agreed value policy on an elderly car, fully comp, home start European recovery included, £130, I can't even gett AA Europe cover and home start for that, nevermind insuring a car 😂

New bike?

I'm looking,  I already have a gladius (I bought it to do mod 2 but have only been out with instructors on it - so it will nice to be able to just ride.. without pressure .. I keep grinning (it's taken me 4 years to get here.. passed with 4 days left on a cbt  PHEW!)

Had my second attempt at my MOD2 on Wednesday. Failed again.

First test went reasonably well but I did feel a bit nervous however I did have training with the bike school all morning so was really used to the bike. Failed with a serious fault I speed up in a 20 up to 30 odd MPH as I headed into a 40MPH. Apart from that 2 minors. Also went over a junction without looking.

so anyway second try on Wednesday past. Did not feel nervous this time. Get the usual speak show me tell me. We go out the test centre about 10 minutes in asked to pull over for an angle start. I thought it was a bit tight between cars but anyway pulled up and inexplicably lost balance and the bike fell. Absolute embarrassment. The examiner did say normally he woulda left me there to get picked up but told him a was fine and we rode back to the test centre. He said  had a serious fault anyway before that as a didn’t look left at a junction. A bit demoralised atm. My cbt runs out the end of this month. Not sure of a should just leave it or not

Sorry to hear it didn't go so well, sounds like you just need more practice.

Give it another go, once you've passed your full test, you have the whole world to explore, it really is worth it.

Push on imo. Such mistakes are seemingly common and should be straight forward enough to tackle and progress past.

I was told  to just observe observe observe..

My CBT ran out about 4 days after my 3rd test. the extra pressure didn't help but I passed.

Keep going I failed twice and felt like shit and thought I'd never pass and wanted to jack it in but passed third time around and I'm glad I carried on.

Yes Every minor/ fail deflates but to make it worth while and appreciate the skill (and license) when you make it.
just a little bit more time and practice is probably all that’s needs to get over the line, as long as you learn from it and get better then all is not lost….

good luck.
