Bloody useless pair, both the bike thieves are still free to steal again!

I had this happen with a gear lever, luckily I noticed within about 1/2 mile of the last gear change. Went back the following day with a hoe ( gardening tool - you dirty minded lot ) and while poking through the undergrowth I was accosted by a couple of Coppers who thought I was looking for magic mushrooms - after clearing up the misunderstanding I thanked them for letting me know that there were some around , they obviously didn’t see the funny side as an hour later another van stopped with about 8 of them in checking me out again. Took me about 2 hours to find the gear lever.

Yeah, I had that, just ignored it. In the distant past there was a nob head on the MCN forum who used to make up fake female profiles to entice & wind up naive posters - I watched it develop with amusement. This person may have been genuine with innocent intentions

Immediately went to Google ‘Remoska’ then remembered that I’ve been caught like that before and had flashbacks for months ..

As do I, excellent piece of kit, I was a bit taken aback by the price of the batteries but got them anyway as it means ai can wear them on multiple bikes.

They don’t just transport 1 at a time they wait until they have a few to do a milk round, took a month from ordering to delivery last time I used a service like that.

Doing bugger all due to having been struck down with some kind of Lurgy, ( not COVID ) Headache, heavy eyes, sore throat, runny nose & shivering Just wanna sleep, so I’ll dose up with paracetamol & take an early bath.

Does seem a bit like that round here - Banner Lane is now a 30MPH limit ( down from a 40 & has been for a while ) you wanna try driving at the limit & you’ll get tailgated, flashed & dangerously overtaken - can be funny when they get stuck at the lights & I go passed in the filter lane turning right.

They do, I suppose I could go on the 30 mile round trip and kick off about it, but I have no real evidence, eg screenshot or anything, so easily deniable.
