1. Took it in for MOT & Service today. Was booked in for 2nd April, then the pandemic hit. Now it’s all ready to go as soon as ‘lockdown’ is lifted.... well it will be as soon as get the dipped beam bulb changed. I noticed when I got home that I had no headlight but the aux lights and fog lights were on. Checked high beam and that bulb was fine. It must have blown in the way home as it passed the MOT. Not looking forward to removing all the upper fairings and nose cone just to change a blood bulb! Still... nothing better to do at the minute.
2. I’ve just bought a Bagster tank cover from a user on another forum for my Versys. It doesn’t even look like it has been used. I got it for a steal at £50. I’ve been after one for a while as I picked up a couple of stone chips within a month of owning the bike and I had it respayed last year. Enjoy your project!
3. This has to be a wind up..... It is very hard to tell though as some people are thick as pig shit and this pandemic has certainly reinforced it.
4. Bit of old school house.... A little documentary if you’re into this sort of music, and even if you’re not, it’s a bit of music history... https://youtu.be/9Rah1F1zq1k
5. I watched it the other night. It’s not bad
6. All 3 are in my top 20 They’re all great. I’d 100% say Dummy was Portisheads best album, same for Mezzanine being Massive Attacks best work, I know this might be sacrilege to say but I don’t think OK Computer is Radiohead’s best work although it is pretty amazing and definately a high point of 90s albums in general. I agree on all counts. Another best album. Faithless - Outrospective.
7. Earphones plugged into phone. I don’t know what radio stations you listen to but you can get radio apps for your smartphone. Radios UK is a good one. Obviously it will use data.
8. Dummy,Mezzanine and OK Computer are the best albums of the 90s imo, not that there weren’t a lot of other great ones too. All 3 are in my top 20
9. I’ve been listening to the Dummy album today. It’s in my top 20 albums.
10. I don't even know what that is or how I would get that to work I’d that a no, maybe or let me get back to you?
11. Would it be possible to add a reader view for the IPhone Stu
12. I put a set of Avon Storm 3D XM’s on my Versys around 6/700 miles ago. I highly recommend them too. Can’t see any sign of wear, but it’s early days. They gave great feeling from the first ride and within 30 miles I was riding like they’d been on for months. They warm up quickly and inspire confidence. I WAS a Michelin man having had a good few sets of PR 2’s. Hopefully the rear will last more than 8000 miles. If it does I’m definitely sticking with these.
13. I’ve just put a set of front EBC HH’s on the Versys on Monday. The OEM’s were pretty low. They have managed 13,500 odd miles, so not bad. The Versys has 4 pot Tokiko’s and so for I’ve not got any complaints. Always been 2 finger braking. The rear is fine. I hardly use it except for very slow stuff. Can’t wait to get out and bed them in!
14. This album One track from it
15. The album that includes this and this is fitting...
16. I think this was back in Feb/March 2015 I can’t remember where we ended up but I know it was bloody cold!
17. It was great cheers. Only my 2nd run out this year.
18. I went out on Monday 23rd for a solo ride. I took a bottle of water and something to eat. I saw at least 3 groups of 6 or more bikers! I stopped at the top of the Lincolnshire Wolds to eat and drink in a lay-by. A car pulled in just as I was taking a photo of the bike. I walked back to my bike and out the water bottle back in my top box. When I turned around an old gentleman had started to approach me and offered to take a photo of me on the bike. I stepped back sharpish and politely declined. Wtf aren’t people thinking? I thought. I put my lid on and f**k ed off home. I also took these incase I got caught speeding
19. Yes. Remove pads and push pistons back. Once you’ve put the wheel back on make sure you pump the brake lever to push the pads back onto the disc
20. I’ve completed. I too found it pretty interesting. I thought the clips were comical.
