Instead of the grease I use a small cable tie not to tighten, just enough to move and stay in place. Both forks obviously It works a treat

You Will need the service manual to find what depth from the top the oil should be. Alternatively, measure the oil without the springs before you drain it. That should give you an idea of where the oil should sit. Then you can just trial and error with different amounts and decide which level works better for you. More oil means stiffer suspension Less oil means softer suspension. You will need to know also what w value you will be using. Again this is more a personal choice than following the manufacturer specs. Higher Wxx also increases the stiffness of the suspension Normally something between W5 and W15

My favourite route on that area is taking the A93 from Perth to Banchory then take a left at Crathes to the A957 towards Stonehaven. -

I don't want to disappoint you. There is no sea in Perth Don't remember being in Inverness and not being raining That A9 to civilization is dreadful not even good quality speed cameras, only average ones -
Except the obvious ones. Like meeting up Yes I don't use FB and have no intention in going there. However, I have nothing against those who enjoy it as well as any other antisocial media apps We're all different and that's a good thing

It's cheaper to use places like ansthruder on the east coast. Not as beautiful and far less lochs still cheaper Oh wait. I hate you. Never mind what I said... -

If that is the bolt that holds the swing arm you will have a nut on the opposite side. It should be a normal thread because isn't a moving part. Use a 6 side socket not a star one or you risk damaging the bolt before it moves. with the socket in place (ideally a old one) hit it a few times with a hammer to break the lock. The same way you would with a screw. As extreme, you would remove all plastic, protect the inside of the bike and heat it up with a torch (the thread side not the bolt).

Make sure you don't create depressions on the tyre that you won't feel until you're 40 or 50 mph on a road. Patience is the name of the game. Riding more carefully for 50 or 70 miles to naturally wear the tyre is always the best solution. Do you really need to ride high speeds as soon you leave the garage?

When i sold my vfr800 i had an advert in Gumtree or vivastreet website. Someone allegedly from Paris contacted me that was interested in buying it from me and exactly as the title I would have to pay £250 to the courier. Whe. I said that I was selling cash only and I wouldn't pay anyone to get the bike I never heard from that scammer again. I would run from that kind of deal because you won't sell the bike and will definitely end up 250 quid loss

I assure you that if you do the Moffat - St. Mary's loch route you won't need as long *Other roads are available.

As long you remove the sticker and ride cautiously for the first 50 miles to take the shine away then you're fine.

Personally I struggle to associate truth and insurance industry

There is a shop in Edinburgh that even organise ride outs at weekends. In a time where we're always several days late for everything, it's no surprise that time for a wee chat is now something from the past. Was back alive at the beginning of the charging stations for EVs where while you wait you would chat with the guy on the next station. That's gone too..

I don't believe for a moment any insurance company loses money. Maybe if they stop paying stupid amounts as bonuses and performance enticers they could lower the premiums. One thing I have learnt a few weeks ago is that there are loads of brokers that are part of the same company, just different names. This becomes evident when you get quotes that are pennies apart and you read the small print and they are part of the same group. If insurance were losing money they would have closed down long ago. They are 1 step lower than bankers... closely followed by estate agents and lawyers.

I partially agree. The honda shadow forum is quite good, However, being US based their definition of banter is very different.
