I don’t know really. I don’t feel particularly cross or anything. I think partly there is a little something to sort on the new bike which has gotten in the way of getting to know it and love it. Just the whole hassle since really. Insurance company have still not even offered a settlement. Stacking up to feel more hassle really.
I think I will like my new bike but I loved my old one.

I ordered an OBDlink MX+ for the Bobber so I can access the ECu via TuneECU. The cheapest option was from Gendan Automotive.

I've just had the following email from them:

Hi

Your product has been gently taken from our shelves with soft cotton gloves and placed on a cushion for its journey to the packing area.

A team of 4 packers thoroughly inspected your item and polished it to ensure it is in the best possible condition before beginning the packing process.

Our packing specialist from Sweden lit a scented candle and demanded silence from everyone in the office. A perfect ambiance is required to allow him to achieve packaging perfection.

Once completed, we all had a wonderful celebration and the team marched to the delivery company, waving and spreading good cheer as we journeyed through Swansea. Everyone applauded, shouted Bon Voyage! and hugged one another as the van left.

Your parcel is being cared for by Royal Mail Tracked 24. It should be with you in 1-2 working days.

The tracking number of the item is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

You can track the item at

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at Gendan Limited. We sure did. Your picture is on our wall and we have nominated you for our Customer of the Year title. The whole team is pretty exhausted but can't wait for you to come back and shop with us again at www.gendan.co.uk

Thanks and best regards,

If I get one something like a C1 or ka or something. 1k would be my price range.
I’m going to ride out this grump and hopefully the winter and have a summer of riding and then if the winter season comes and I feel the same take the plunge.

Rather French c1 shit than the ka, just make sure if you get the c1 you want a very big fire extinguisher close at hand 👍 😁

The older Ka is certainly a rotbox. But the old C1 is pretty much the same car as the Toyota Aygo, and also the Peugeot 107.

Our daughter ran a 2010 Aygo for 140k with very few problems. She got rid of it when the heater blower went and that means the whole dash has to come out. I was too busy at the time and she needed a car for work but a dealer took it part ex.

If you want a reliable cheap small car try to find the older Toyota Yaris, particularly the Japanese built ones rather than the French built version. They can rot at the back end of the sills just in front of the rear wheel but it's repairable so long as it hasn't got too deep. Mechanicals are strong.

For your budget you really won't get much as prices are silly at the moment.

Well that's decided then . I'm never , ever , eating Tofu .

You could always try it with Marmite. Two vile things might cancel each other out. Quite why you would though escapes me at the moment.
