Good Evening :classic_biggrin:

I don't like Sunday nights! I've been at work 2 hours and so far I've had to unblock a filter(clean overalls lasted less than 5m.)

Now I'll be sneezing all night from the dust! Climb a ladder 4 times to get a door to work that was perfectly ok on Thurs. night.

Spent 10 minutes in the dark trying to find the right key to get into the compressor house that's never normally locked.

Reboot the computer so I can get on here :classic_biggrin:

Is it Friday yet? :scratch::classic_biggrin:

Sea fishing I gather? I used to love sea fishing round N Wales. I just don't get the time these days. Night fishing was always my favourite. Not that I was particularly good at it. I think I only caught the ones who had a death wish.

I do course and sea fishing, I like to night fish I think it's the peace and quiet and no one else about except maybe another angler that appeals to me :thumb:

Good morning. Sort of.

My Focus is in for some work under warranty. The local garage has lent me a Nissan Micra. Yea gods, it’s terrifying to drive. No power, soggy brakes, wallowy suspension and no grip in bends. I now understand why they’re driven at snail’s pace everywhere.

I always put their snail's pace down to the fact most of them seem to be driven by little old ladies. My mother in law had one and I think she thought if she exceeded 50 mph her head would explode. At least you have a more valid reason.

Trying to find somewhere to get a flu jab since I'm eligible. Nowhere round here has any appointments for a month. I can't see how the Government plan to get people to take up the jabs if none are available.

If you are over fifty or have underlying health issues you can get a flu jab at Boots, Tesco`s Lloyds Pharmacies in Most Sainsburys and a lot of other outlets free of charge. Go on their websites to see whos close to you, if not its a tenner. I always get my flu jab at the start of Autumn as the doctors are late getting stock or not enough.

I'm getting mine on Wednesday at the local  Lloyd's pharmacy. Free I believe due to my advanced age. Can't get a Covid booster jab though; my wife is getting one next week.

I got it up to 70mph on the M6 … the engine spins at about 3500rpm but in such a buzzy manner I thought it was going to explode.

Tried all of those. Nothing available until this time in December. I'm 60 so it's free.

The forecast for Friday looks good, cool but dry. So there's four of us setting off for Old Stores for around 10.30ish, fuel up on a brekky, then decide where to play in N Wales.

Warm kit on I think

Hi @Mississippi Bullfrog, we travelled up from Poole on Sunday for lunch,  very nice apart from it was packed!!!!

And not sure if there extractors were broken or if it's like that anyway,  but couldn't see much after half a hour 🤔

But can't complain about food very nicely cooked.

And I don't know the guy looking at camera,  just happened to turn round as I took photo😂

Well my flu jab for tomorrow has been cancelled apparently because there's no one available to do it. Suggested getting in touch next week which is no use to me as I'll be in South Shields fighting fires and getting drowned. Grump.

I think that's Father Christmas getting a quick ride in before life gets busy.

Small sample of near 1 tonne of flooring I had to carry from the drive into the house.

2.4m long each box, what on Earth was I thinking? 🙄

6 months? Kahrs is nice flooring, takes no time to lay.

When we had the flat (2 floors) almost the whole of the upper floor was our bedroom. It was just under 30 m2 and my wife decided she wanted a solid hard wood floor and selected a very nice wood similar to rosewood. It was as hard as hell and weighed a ton. I carried god knows how many kilos of this stuff up 4 floors. It took 3 weeks to lay and wrecked my knees in the process. Looked good afterwards though.
