It's not just Christmas, or fuel, or trying to get to see a GP.....I took one of the cars in for servicing and it's going to take until next week because they can't get the parts. It's not something exotic, only a Skoda Citigo.

You might choose to look at the current U.K. rules… this for apples, for example.

 

U.K. marketing standards.

15 pages of bureaucratic BS. Pretty sure the local apple growers hereabouts don't conform to all that. And I'm not including the ones that go for cider!

Try buying a car. All car manufacturers  including the German ones are struggling due to lack of key electronic components. The sky is obviously falling.
