Can’t really take your boots off at the side of the road when it’s started to rain. Boots were not a problem as I keep a couple of plastic carrier bags in the top box. Put these over the boots and then they just slide down the legs.

Then it would have been miles too big and flapped in the wind.

Like @bonio I would use a RAM mount. Either handle bar mount or Clutch/Brake master cylinder fitting kit if the headstock bolt fitting is too low.

I have a one piece waterproof suit. Tried it on in the shop. Went on well, fitted well. Got it off ok. you try putting it on at the side of the road when it has just started to rain. Not easy. Should have got a 2 piece set.

I always check and if necessary inflate to the recommended pressure prior to riding. This means pushing out of the garage and checking the TPMs. Then inflate or deflate as required. I’ve had the high warning in summer after a few miles riding just because the roads were hot and a high ambient whereas the garage was quite cool.

Me. Always go for a ride on New Year’s Day as long as there is no ice on the road.

Is this as well as the main head lamps or instead of? if as well as, separate switch and fuse, also check the alternator is ok with the extra load. if instead of I would check size of existing wiring. If you are replacing 1 head lamp with two. You are doubling the load.

If they are varifocal they play havoc with playing sport / games.

If you are after a very close match see if you can obtain a RAL colour chart from an auto paint repairer. you can also buy these for about £15 from various suppliers. some decorating outlets use RAL colours so may be worth looking at these. failing that it is downloading a RAL chart and comparing these to the frame. Not too accurate though due to screen differences.
