Bought a KTM 890 Adventure. Addictive little buggers.
-
I had them on the 1290. Brilliant tyre, wet or dry. Travelled to Normandy last year, 2K and never looked like they had touched tarmac. Pity I never got to do anymore miles on them. I am a Michelin fanboy though.

Damn, glad you're ok tho, that's the main thing, at least you can limp home and get sorted, hopefully for the next trip.

Failed Mod 1 - need pepping up

I think they would give the test centre a wide birth if they installed a mine roundabout -
Now you know, I certainly hope you find something that you can make a living at. Good luck in the search, hopefully it will be something that you can enjoy too, just like the last one.

Went out for a little ride on Sunday, shoulder still not right, so tonight I finished off cleaning the MT07 ready for it to go soon. The replacement search continues, I am swaying towards a KTM 890 adventure, smaller, lighter but with great luggage capacity. Will see how this week pans out, currently speaking to a couple of dealers to see what I can get for the dosh

They are decent, and I will order some for my new bike, just a pisser having to pay about £30+ import.

Failed CBT - feeling a bit useless
Pie man replied to Dombo's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
You can do it, we've all had bad days and set backs. Just go back and try again another day. If it's any consolation, I went out today on my bike with the intension to test ride a KTM 890. I rode like a Tw*t, so I turned around and went home . I will try again next weekend. -
However, import duty kills the bargain.

I bought mine about 3 years ago, we had a trip planned to Wales, parking was behind the B&B in the town centre, no security, only disc lock and Monimoto. I have seen it before abroad, pissed up yoofs coasting down hills on unlocked scooters. Ask me how I know

Well a bloody Ninja Foodimax 9 in 1 arrived today, well its keeping the wife busy. Can I say that
-
It has movement detection, I suppose I have the false reassurance that if I'm in a shop and someone tries to move the bike I can be an all action hero and stop it from being stolen, not.

I would signal left, last time I was down Elliot street the left turn straight after (the one in red above ) is one way so in theory nothing should come down there Plus Elliot street is no entry from the opposing direction, as it is one way Plus I would only signal if it was going to be of use to someone else, but that's just me.

are there any traps in Atherton Mod2 tests?
Pie man replied to hoycch's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
Well he did once say "don't believe everything you read on the internet" 1986 -
I once bought a pair, after their first use they went in the bin, I would never to buy an Oxford garment again that claims to be waterproof.
-
That's a bargain to ride for another 12 months

I think area codes do have some part to play. However; I think it is just a cover up for all the robbing bar stewards that are the additional 3rd parties that screw the underwriters. Ask me how I Know.

This test centre is relatively a new facility that caters for all and it always appears busy, (well it is local to me) William Shakespeare recons a 47% pass rate. I don't think there are any difficulties around the routes.
