  1. @oldgrump, that's the one I was thinking about, not footman
  2. Have you tried footman James? They specialise in classics/vintage bikes insurance
  3. If they are allowing you to go, and it is safe to do so, it is not an issue
  4. I have just got my old job back after being out of work because of my health issues, and have been looking for work for a little over a year. On the day I get employment I have had 3 job offers, subject to interview, in the last hour
  5. Nothing from G W in over a week, and no reply to the nice link I gave him
  6. Happy birthday Bender, have a jolly good one PS, you may be a bit too late, I think someone may have flounced already
  7. Found thishttps://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/move-electric/how-do-motorbike-cbt-seat-mo-electric-scooter
  8. Happy birthday Stu
  9. Not a good morning. Its too hot and it means I sweat a lot, and that affects the adhesive on my bags and causes all sorts of trouble
  10. That's it, @onsea is off his trolley
  11. They can't, have to wear a helmet, remenber
  12. Speaking from experience, make sure you have the latest camera update loaded. When I got a summons to court, (for not informing plod who was riding my 500 at the time) I had apparently broken the speed limit just outside Boston, on the way to skeggy, a route I used numerous times in a year. There was no warnings on my TomTom smart 50 as I had not updated it, and generally used it in case of diversions
  13. Try here https://www.thevisorshop.com/Mobile/en/Visors/m-c-174.aspx
  14. When we see pics of Stus' bike are we certain it's not a scale model with a full size badge fitted
  15. There you go, this is a spare from my cb500r, and it will directly fit my Cbf600sa8
  16. No, that is a standard cap across the majority of cb and cbf Hondas. The seal is that big piece of rubber. It pushes upwards when you close the cap and push down on it to release the key
  17. What you riding, a 42 seater BMW?
  18. Crash bungs do a good job of protecting plastics, as it keeps them off the ground, but casings can still get damaged, I know this from an off on a mini roundabout, so some thing fitted to protect engine casings is also beneficial
  19. Mine is in a garage and covered
  20. Ha! I got a complete clutch for the 600, 4000 miles on the clocks, for £37. That's less than half price for a set of friction plates on their own. I've no idea if the clutch has had new plates before I bought it so figured this was a no brainer
  21. The bikes are getting faster each year, so there are too many unknowns as to the cause of the crashes, but I suspect they are experiencing lift issues, so losing grip or bring lifted into the air and flipped. Look on YouTube for videos of le mans cars Flipping over on the back straight among the trees, even though their aerodynamics are meant to keep them glued to the track
  22. Not sure. Had a Chinese Friday night to celebrate someone leaving, and I felt rather bloated before eating it all, as though it was stuck in my gullet. Left the remainder of it, and went bed early to see if it would clear, but instead woke up and had to rush to the loo, though seemed to be more phlegm than food, but after that I could not relax and go back to sleep
