linuxrob Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Gave the Z500 a 10 mile warm up then balanced carbs, not to far out for a bench sync. Posted a short vid on YouTube if anyone is having trouble sleeping rob B Quote
bonio Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Laid it on its side non to gently after being rear ended at some temporary traffic lights. Near side damage.Rode home after a good check over, then spent an hour on the phone to insurance. Three vehicles involved so has to go through insurance. Oh man. That's weeks down the drain on the phone and filling out forms. All to get yourself some higher premiums. That truly sucks. Quote

Snod Blatter Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Ride to the Cinderella club & got wet This is the one at Hoar park right? I'd assumed it was cancelled due to a certain viral event but if it's on I might actually give it a go, I never could before due to being of working age but lovely furlough stops that being an issue! SometimesSansEngine Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 There was some light surface rust on the odd bolt on my bike when I bought it, so spent a relatively short time with a wire brush and some WD40 sorting it out. Quote
gymwitch Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Dropped it on the road going round a corner. Dont know why or how it happened but the most important bit is 20 plus scooterists saw it. #feelingblessed Quote

linuxrob Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Winter draws on.... Took the Z500 out today, down to York (Strawberry Fields Cafe) over to Helmsley, then the TT urn to Stoksley and home, 125 miles. New rear suspension working well, will have to soften up the front damping now. Bye bye ATF and hello 5W fork oil. Quote
