So all the work I'd done looking for a cheaper deal was wasted. We'll probably end up paying through the nose now. Went through this a few months ago. Got bumped onto Shell, IIRC. They put us on the variable rate tarriff, which was priced ok at the time, but variable. So I left as soon as I could for another provider's fix rate. It took about 2 or 3 months to sort out. I was with Shell since they took over First Utility. They made a total hash of our bills last year so this year I switched to Green. I foresee the few companies left being overwhelmed and customer service being worse than ever. 1 Quote

When I do get exposed to the sun I go red then my skin drops off like a snake and I end up pale again. Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Oh bollix. We were with Shell Energy before they messed us about so I switched to Green. Just heard that now Green have gone bust we've been signed up with Shell again. 1 1 Quote
S-Westerly Posted September 27, 2021 Author Posted September 27, 2021 After 2 years of utterly crap service from Scottish Power my wife has changed us to British Gas. At least they aren't likely to go bust and the deal they offered is apparently OK. I've no idea as I don't have sweet FA to do with domestic issues. Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Good news guys - all my worries are over. Just had an email from a General serving with the US Army in Syria who says he's found barrels of money buried under a farmhouse. Apparently I can have 30% of the stash if I help him get it out of the country. That's around $5 million for me - so it's free motorbikes for everyone. 4 Quote

Can I order a Diavel as I quite fancy trying one. Cheers Ian Quote
Guest Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Evenin. Been doing drone flying training this week. Didn't realise it was all taken so seriously these days, I testing though. Meant to be flying them next two days but postponed due to Shitey weather. Quote
bonio Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 You training as a drone pilot? MOD job? Or working for Ken McCallum? Cool - I think Quote
