What is it with women and their obsession with having the bog seat down?

I have no idea. Living for many years with a wife and daughters I gave up trying to understand women and just do as I'm told. Even the cat was female.

Hence the name, from Flip, Flop, Fly.....

Like a Mississippi Bullfrog sitting on a hollow stump, got so many women I don't know which way to jump.

Many hours later....

This was the original toilet (this one is the right side but both identical)

Then I did this

This was after the wife come to "inspect" it... 🙄

Just final touches left.

Covering the holes in the wall and get a new splashback.

This will be done when I do the second one so I do it in one go. :thumb:

I’ve abandoned the en-suite to leave my good lady to do the tiling. I did cut the trim to size, mind…

A lot harder than brain surgery. 🙄

Which is why I leave it to my good lady. She’s the clever one, I just lift heavy things… 🤔

Ditto here my wife is an excellent tiler. She has the patience I lack.

I quite like tiling. I find the electric tile cutter makes life much easier for tricky areas.

If you want to practice your tiling skills you're more than welcome to come here and use my walls for it :thumb:

I'll even get the materials for you to improve your skill.

By 'eck - it's wet and windy out there on two wheels. I'm glad I put the right gear on before I set off, it was lashing it down on the way home.

Battery angle grinder and diamond disc is now my preferred cutter

I don't mind tiling floors, hate doing walls

I should be good at it. Spent many a night on the tiles in my younger years😀

The weather might be a bit rough, but it broke long enough for me to grab a quick snap of the sunset.

Rode down to my son's place and when going over the Bristol Avon on the M5 bridge thought I'd get blown off. Kept well back from high sided vehicles! At least coming home this pm it was better. Missed the rain and hail too.

In Matlock tonight. Hoping all this weather clears by tomorrow when I'm set to spend all day in woodland.
