I went and collected some stuff from Screwfix on my bike. As Screwfix if 14miles away, and Google maps sends me a scenic route, it was a perfectly legal reason and Route. I didn’t even extend it to go get petrol. Damn. 🤔

yeah ....... all the small stuff I have. I need a cover panel but thats 2400x620 mm ....... a tad big for the bike lol

Well I performed my essential travel going the longish way round. Achieved my objectives and enjoyed sunshine and dry roads! Saw quite a few other bikers out and about as well. Doubtless all on essential journeys.

I once turned up to collect a set of paper rolls from Screwfix. They were somewhat surprised to see it fit in my luggage. Easily.

Blue rolls.

We had Gurnard fillets with a couple of jumbo crevettes and half a dozen palourde clams.

Had a late finish and was greeted with some coated fish accompanied with quinoa that resembled rabbit droppings and tasted like dog doo, was so bad I ate the veg first.

As I didn't have to make it I just grimaced and ate it, I have requested that combo never makes a return though, so probably be getting it for breakfast.

Went  for a walk today and lock down is looking increasingly like a busted flush. We walked from home up to Haresfield Beacon which is a well know viewpoint over the Severn Valley and on a clear day like today you can see Steep Holm in the Bristol Channel. The car park was jammed, there were cars all down the side of the road and many folks who I'm guessing were not single households. Not much sign of social distancing either. We were last that way about 3 weeks ago in snow and we saw maybe 5 people in total.

I think that's getting more and more common. A lot of people I know who have had the jab think they're impervious to Covid now, even if they've only just had the one.

The biddies are running amok!

Yep the traffics stacked. The boomers are safe so they no longer care about the rules :seeya:

Some boomers. 🤔

Well the young folk got a hell of a lot of accusations hurled about not following the rules, seems right to even things up a bit 😂

On a marvellous positive note Somerset has not recorded a single hospitalisation or death for 9 consecutive days in the over 70’s 😊

So looks like the vaccines doing something.

In reality there has been no lock down for the last couple of months.

Traffic is still busy.

Saw 2 pissed up youths staggering around at quarter to 5 this morning on way to work.

Either the pub lock ins are starting again or its house party time. (I'm probably jealous more than owt)
