They are BMW special tools for the boxer engine for finding TDC/BDC (top)

Cam chain tensioning tool (middle)

Cam alignment tool (bottom)

Took my a long time to find these! no where had stock and I am not sure if they are supposed to be sold to the public :?

Maybe they’re not! Have you got the RepRom manual on CD?

BMW annoy the crap out of me, damn good bikes but not the most user friendly to work on yourself .... everything on them are torx!  Do they not use Allen keys in Germany?  I struggled finding a socket for the axle nut on my s1000, 36mm, biggest nut I've ever known to secure the axle on a bike, even taking the rear wheel off and putting it back on, something that should be quite straightforward forward,  wasn't!   Still love the bike though so I'll put up with the annoyances.

Yet everything I have seen on servicing the boxer is extremely easy! and with all the right tools hence the purchase its very easy to service the bike

I would prefer torx over allen keys :?

Nope! Never even heard of that 😂

It's the official BMW Service Manual on DVD Rom, the one the dealerships use. You can buy them from ebay like this one:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264667063545?hash=item3d9f62e4f9:g:q-AAAOSwrVRf33-K

Only works on Windows by the way!

Single sided swinging arm - I think some Ducati’s have bigger

Live and learn,  I always thought the single sided swing arms had a series of smaller bolts holding the rear wheel in place ,  never had one though so don’t know.  Hell of a size bolt 👍

It changed with the 1200. prior to that they had 4 x 18mm.
