Followers

I noticed I had a follower yesterday so disabled the setting in my profile. 

It felt odd, having a follower so I'm leaving it turned off. Anyone else feel the same, or is it just me?

I must say I do find it a bit strange that you can follow people on a forum. 

 

I have never used the setting myself so I don't even know what it actually achieves

 

It's like they are trying to make it more like Facebook and twitter but saying that you could follow people or add them as a friend or foe on forum software before Facebook and twitter came along

Let's hope I haven't upset my followers feelings by cancelling them.

Can't say it bothers me at all but then I don't understand the concept. Don't do twitter or Facebook etc. so not really tuned into the whole thing. Happy to be ignorant.

The good thing is making us talk more with each other.
