S-Westerly Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Anything we use on deck has to be classed as intrinsically safe and explosion proof. This is why walkie talkies which normally cost about a 100 quid are about 900 quid. No phones on deck or other electronic devices. Quote
Guest Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Wife wanted to go to the garden centre in Caniles........so we went on a bit further to revisit the abandoned railway station and bridge in Baul.Hell of a difference in the picture quality with this camera compared to the ones in my ride report a few months ago. Bianco2564 Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 XTreme as promised, took the 380 out for a spin, first time in over a year I think.Started up easily and rode fine, loving the 2 stroke triple sound track. It's now been in my ownership for over 24 years. Quote
Bianco2564 Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 MOT on the Silverwing tomorrow. The old shop I used to go for MOTs for the last 30 years has closed down so having to try out a new place in Lutterworth. So it failed on front wheel bearing play which is actually the hub is worn and the bearing moves around in it so the wheel is shot.Trying to source another on fleabay. Quote

rennie Posted September 5, 2020 Author Posted September 5, 2020 I went out and got a couple of tags 115 miles mainly in Shropshire but I may just have strayed into Wales.I'm loving the new bike and slowly getting used to going round corners and overtaking things again Quote

Fantastic! No grabrail on it though? No never had one. They are fairly pricey and hard to warrant the spend on it for a purely cosmetic touch. If I was to buy anything for it, it would be a new seat, current one is a bit rough around the edges. Mississippi Bullfrog Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Our son in law has a subscription for craft ales. In his latest box was this, Gingerbread Stout brewed in the US. He hates anything with ginger in it so he passed it on to me.I'm not usually a stout guy but this stuff is gorgeous. 9.2% though so it's not a brew to quaff before going out on the bike. Quote
