We have no gas fire so without electricity we're doomed.Just remembered, even the sewage is pumped by electric. Niiiiice! I bought a busted one to fix & flog not long after I moved to the sticks. XTreme Posted October 30, 2020 Share Posted October 30, 2020 So it's the weekend!As you probably know, they've now put the kybosh on me leaving the immediate town area......and I cannot enter another town.However, depending on the direction I go there's plenty of scope to ride without getting my collar felt. But I'm playing it safe and staying off anything that would be classed as a major road in case the Guardia are patrolling.What a f@cking world we're living in now! rennie Posted October 30, 2020 Author Share Posted October 30, 2020 We can still go to The Pub but there's not much point because you can't socialise.I think I could ride my bike as long as I don't go into Wales, although they advise essential journeys only,but the weather is pants so that won't be happening.Once we've picked the campervan up from the garage later I doubt we'll be goinganywhere till I go to work Sunday night (still happening as far as I know atm)We did do the supermarket shopping this morning! not ideal when that's the highlight of the week! Slowly - but that's the point. It's something to play with during the winter with current restrictions on what we can do. It's also something I've never done before so figuring out how to do things is providing something of a challenge. Each tree takes a long time to get right but the end result is quite satisfying.
