We were on a visit from Cornwall, Father Bill had given a room to my friend John when he was attending the Prince of Wales Merchant Navy school there because he had run out of money. He had run out of money because he had traded in his CD175 for a CB400 Four. Father Bill was lovely and the only person I’ve ever met with a genuine Giles cartoon of themselves on the wall. He had recently been bought a CB550 by the members of the 69 club as a birthday present. They had traded in his old Triumph without his knowledge. Luckily he loved the new bike especially its electric start. I saw him again a couple of years later when he had moved to the Medway. The story that brought a smile to his face that time was that the Bishop had allowed his move across Kent to be escorted by hundreds of motorcycles. That must have been a shock for his new parishioners. Fully insured She puts herself on courses as she sees fit.
