OK,

So 'lockdown' is over and we can all now get back to nearly normal lives so....

What about holding a late summer rally?

I have put out an enquiry to the Bull In't'Thorn (now reopened) or, there is the (can't still be that bad?) Miner's Standard.

There are others but the criteria is:

Camping allowed

Motorhomes allowed

On-site B&B accommodation (for us 'older' folk)

Function room

Cheap!

If you have a suggestion - Please write it here.....

Please add your name below if you would be willing to come along (if we can find somewhere):

1. Grumpy Old Git - B&B

2. Rennie and Susieque campervan

3.

@Grumpy Old Git is this you volunteering to organise something? :D

I was going to look to see if I could organise something but I have just been too busy with work at the min! a change in occupation resulted in lots of training courses etc

My plan was to try and just find a place with camping and a B&B and just have some sort of meet up to get things going again and hopefully allow @rennie & @Susieque to enjoy themselves too instead of all the stress of the music etc! they are getting old now you know

I am certainly interested in this and pretty much anywhere that has a B&B option would be good !

Will depend on date....

Same very date dependant for me.

Also not too far north being somewhere south with a dislike for motorways.
Happy to camp, bike and maybe car depends who and how and when.

If the date worked I'd be up for it. Probably wishful thinking due to me working weekends though.

Maybe us shift workers should try together mid week some time?

I'd be up for that but I don't think Campervans are very in keeping with the spirit of the thing . Just saying .

Not close enough I am afraid!

The Bull in't' Thorn is pretty remote and taxis would just kill it

I thought it was fairly central, where did you fancy it, your garage?

no the place is remote in terms of anything near by!

Its a great location in Derbyshire but the closest place is a good drive away and you certainly wouldn't want to walk to the next village
