keith1200rs Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 My clothing matches but the airbag prevents them zipping together. 1 Quote
onesea Posted December 9, 2023 Author Posted December 9, 2023 Ok I cocked up one was meant to say always… Quote
Pie man Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 I always zip my textile suits together, the only ones that don't, are my jeans and Revit Eclipse mesh jacket (no zips) Quote
Shepherd Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Just bought one of these for my pillion Daughter and Wife https://www.thevisorshop.com/en/Oxford-Belt-connector/m-31786.aspx (2 different people before you ask ) Quote
S-Westerly Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Always zip together when there is a zip. Not so much from the safety point of view but more to stop the cold draft up my back. 1 Quote
Simon Davey Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 (edited) I like to zip. Prevention of road-rash on the coccyx if I accidentally dismount, and it's more comfy than feeling like I'm not quite dressed properly. I imagine if you're sat upright, the comfort thing isn't so obvious compared to reaching forward with the jacket riding up? Edited December 9, 2023 by Simon Davey Mad smelling pishtake Quote
DJP Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Always. And I only buy jackets & trousers that can zip together. 1 Quote

RideWithStyles Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 . to wear your coccyx out (the little tail bone for those that dont know) youd have to have no arse to grind away to start with like most skate boarders or Jeremy clarkson. 1 Quote
Interference Fit Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 I wear Hood Jeans and an Alpinestars jacket. I just took the jeans to our local alterations shop and asked them to sew the bottom half of the zip that came with the jacket to the waist band of the jeans and it works perfectly. Quote
Joe85 Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Always. In fact it triggers my anxiety that my arse will be hanging out if I don’t. Quote

Capt Sisko Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 (edited) I'm a braces man myself. They stop both the builder's bum and cold draft but also allows a slightly loser fit of trousers which aids comfort when in the sat position, yet still keep the trousers up when you take your jacket off. I’ve always wondered about all the weirdos who don’t used braces. It’s by far the best solution. Quote

bonio Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Braces. But if it's jeans and a jacket then I just hope it all hangs together. Quote
RideWithStyles Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 (edited) Im a picker/fiddler by nature-no not those sickos but more of those annoying fidget people as the wife calls me . if i had braces when stopped id have to pull them out and play.. wow sounds worse now... to illustrate so Stu's finger of fate doesnt ban me.
