1. When I was a kid doing a paper round, someone ordered a Sunday times with a letter box that size. Every week he would phone the shop up and complain that it was damaged he wanted refund. Till one week I took my time and posted each page individually, including supplements. Anything that was not stapeled together was posted individually. I was in the shop when he called, complaining about the paper being unreadable after being posted page by page. The shop keeper looked at me smiled then simply asked "was it damaged?"...
2. I would buy from them any time, yes it's not too quality but it's good enough... https://www.rydestore.com/luggage.html
3. That is actually seriously questionable behaviour. The security code (3 digits on the back) I understand was introduced to stop people taking quick impression of your card and being able to use over the telephone... They might as well say send us your card and pin number, we will go to the bank and get the cash... Who would you report them to....
4. Email them they where quite helpful when I did: [email protected] Update the software: https://www.cardosystems.com/support/smartpack/ Also download the manual. Its an arse to do but the latest release are working better... I have turned of voice controls but have learned the various death grips to do most things. If not I use the app.. As Stu says DMC mode: Create a pack make sure they are both in it. Bluetooth: you will need to pair them and connect them. Download the app on yours and another phone pair the headsets with one to each phone, Use app to pair head sets (you can do it by finding the right combination of buttons but thats harder). We have ours paired in DMC and BLuetooth as we use it to share music and talk... You do need to learn to use these sets to a certain point otherwise they are useless..
5. Blackholesun I thought my first CBT instructor was an idiot, well yours has aced him. Find another school tell them what happened, because of that experience you will need an understanding instructor... Maybe ask on Facebook to find good local schools...
6. Today buying milk... Normally allowed in shop with helmet flipped up, had it down as mask... Please review your helmet, I am using as face covering, It's the rules you must have face covering, Removed helmet put on facemask, Next time I will use my skull face neck scarf...

Scary shit

Shortness off breath is symptom of heart failure... If he's had sudden on set shortness of breath unexpectedly, his brain may of been saying heart failure.. Panic! Then he will get short of breath and some symptoms of heart attack because of the fast breathing with his panic attack. You did the right thing, either way. He had the ambulance crew convinced enough to take him in as precaution...
8. Tough one this, I have Packtalk for coms. Having had cheaper. Would I buy again? No - expensive and you cannot get unit serviced for new battery. Yes- Dual audio streaming, we can listen to our own music/ radio share music and have a conversation simultaneously. For group riding I am not fussed pillion to rider I like.
9. Round here rumor has it they follow you home from your local bike night.... See where you park your bike and afew days later.... I use social media I post in select places avoid giving exact location and bike pictures rarely give to much away... Luckily home is obscure enough I would be hard to follow from my local bike night. I still don't leave my bike outside its storage for long so there is less chance of it being found. Of they want it they will find it no matter what I do.
10. Id you have foot peg off have you tried a persuader? I would use piece of wood as punch and start with small hammer working your way up? If peg is off the bike you could always try sticking it in the fridge or even freezer, or gently pressing it out in a vice... Just be aware it might only come out of hole one way, hole could be conical in shape...
11. If you don't have trickle charger don't worry, unless the bike has an alarm. Just run the bike up to temperature every 2-3 weeks that should do it. If the bike has an alarm that will constantly draw on battery and surprisingly quickly you can find yourself with a flat battery. I am not a believer in trickle chargers, for long term use. Put it on for day or so then switch it off. For all the intelligence some claim I don't think they do any good...
12. Always worth remembering on country roads.. Shit on, shit off... When ever a farmer leaves farm yard there is shit on road, when ever the tractor does magic and turns into field it will leave shit on the road....
13. Please - no photos. It will be fine as long as Six30 had not ordered one
14. I do not expect or plan to retire: 1) family medical history says I might get 5 years if I retire at 67, if I am lucky, 2) I am sure they will increase the retirement age that much before then, 3) X wife took my first attempt at a pension, 4) my present pension will not supply any standard of living even if I stick at it for 20 years, As with a couple of others on here I have long periods on and off on rotations. It's hard when you don't feel ready to go back....
15. Last time BT went down here I tried reporting by mobile but reception so poor I could not. In the end I registered my complaint by writing to them first class... Last time I deal with them, they where a communications company you could not send pictures to electronically...
16. I wondered where that idea came from... Not saying I was thinking same... https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/neck-gaiters-may-do-more-harm-than-not-wearing-a-mask-at-all-study-shows/
17. That's good For those thinking of using them as facemasks... Not just super cool bike gear... https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/neck-gaiters-may-do-more-harm-than-not-wearing-a-mask-at-all-study-shows/
18. Have you got to 56 yet Stu
19. Camping&Caravan club site near Weymouth.. There are some Jem's out there they take some hunting out, most are booked of weekends. Lucky as shift worker I can get round that... Its hard to find the nice ones and very easy to get it wrong or just wrong day...
20. I am with Igloo energy and I cannot fault them. They had the best tariff without the need for a smart meter. Most contracts you sign up to changing meters of you have not already. For me there is little point there is a lack of mobile signal...
21. Not sure, coz it’s got hard plastic bits attached. My shark helmet I am sure I read somewhere you could massive wash so I did want no problems... Just no spin...
