1. Being made to socially distance from your own child. Because your separated from mum and mum says you and your child are from different households... As of the 4th it's in the rules. Children can travel between households for access as essential travel that was one of the early amendments on lockdown. However with new rules you must socially distance from your own child as they were not part of your household.
2. I once used the entrance of KFC to turn my bike around. The driver who knowingly blocked me in even after I had beeped my horn , wait to walk in whilst I backed and filled, deliberately and slowly. She was getting more irate the guy who was waiting to come out was sniggering at the whole performance, I get the feeling most of the customers where. The staff did not complain either...
3. Modern police speed camera are Lazer technology. They aim the laser at the car to get it's speed. It also means they can identify which car is speeding on say a dual carriageway. Radar tech is not as accurate, and does not have the same range....
4. Buy a second hand Lexemoto, they are cheap enough you will loose less money than buying new. If it's reliable you have good cheap bike, if not you have lost less. If not buy a VanVan
5. You don't give location but if your looking at a blue one near Bournemouth its been sat outside with for sale tag... Every day when the shop opened since late last year... I fancied one as a 125 but other bikes where more affordable for the 6 months I had 125...
6. My 2 pence worth. Start with your CBT £100-120? Dont buy and gear till you have done this and know if you lie it! By then you will know a little bit. You could by 125cc and ride that for whilst (cheap Japanese IMHO), I did think it was good thing, others will disagree You don't need to buy the best gear, first time round (Most bikers can fill more wardrobes with bike gear than women can with dresses (its very bulky)) you don't know what you like or want. Although make sure your gear has good/ approved armour knees, shoulders, back, hips elbows. Helmet £120, - last years (model without great choice of graphics chances are you will drop it at some point :/ ) Trousers £50 Jacket £60 Gloves £40 Boots £80 (I struggle to find cheap), Yes it might leak a little in heavy rain and you might sweat more in the sun but it gets you started and you learn what YOU LIKE. Bike £1000 for bike with MOT and good history, don't worry what you buy if its got good history. See what you like and how you like to ride, bikers change bikes like women change handbags... (I have had 5 bikes in 6 years ) As for size of engine it only goes as quick as you let it, although faster bikes can get you into trouble easier and quicker. Note faster bike, speed and CC not always related my TDM 900 is slower than my FZ6 was, a modern 600R can be much quicker than my Trophy 1200 its not all simple stuff...
7. My first car was Nissan Datsun Violet. The excelarater used to stick from time to time, take your foot of pedal and on it would go accelerating hard. Not many learn to drive in a car with such a unique trait. Turning the ignition off and stop for a time and it was normally fine. Drive like that for 18 months, motorways city centers with girlfriends in the car you name it. Finally I found the answer on a cold snowy night on top of the M62. It happened and was not starting again, it was Fing freezing. I found by tourch light a little leaver with red and blue. Switched it to blue and the problem never came back. Even now a van with the extra stiff spring when you accelerate hard, still make my ass twitch as it feels the same. The first time I did it a fear a little bit of poo came out...

Replica

Ladda most posts on this forum take a similar tern. Not normally do quickly then Six30 is not known for such sensible replies. This thread is causing shock through the forum. I think most would agree if you want a 125 but a second hand Japanese bike.... Except someone on here who likes Chinese bikes (there is always one)...
10. Was the cop car coming from same direction as the van? see the bike and advert collision?
11. Now can you tell me about the women or should I pitch my tent in Essex Seriously suggestions on place or areas to stop. Thinking 2 nights 1 campsite would be good...
12. I have ridden a fair amount between here and there, been there in a convertible a Landover and boat. If I was going to explore Cornwall it would be by boat or Landrover... Unless it's the only place that is sunny then I would take the bike again...
13. I have ridden a fair bit of Wales, North and South. It's not off the agenda as in my usual manner I will leave booking late and hope there are spaces in weekday for a tent... East coast of England I have little knowledge off...
14. For 4 years I have been promising myself a solo bike camping episode. I have permission from she who must be obeyed. It will be a Monday through Wednesday. So now destination... Living near Southampton not able to escape to 0930 home by 1730 Wednesday... Given my dislike off motorways I recon South of Manchester. Fancying Norfolk way as I have not really been there. Although really open to ideas...
15. Cuts out when warm cools down and starts again? I would say electric timing sensor. But agree with others, take it back dont give up.
16. Tried this today on my phone on a little 180 odd mile jaunt: I found it really struggled if it did not have internet, even though I have downloaded maps as google maps was still running. I liked the simplicity, Found the number for roundabouts a little hard to read, I found that running google maps in a window filled in the gaps that when it was struggling r I have not learned how to follow it, It also jumped to cycle mode taking me down some very interesting lanes... I can see it being a good system if you don't have phone charging or a phone mount, my phone can go a day navigating IF I don't have the screen on. There is also always a battery pack in your pocket to keep your phone charged. On the downside for me now it means I have running: Beeline Google Maps, TomTom Amigo, (told me about to moible cameras today), Music Playing App...
17. Bugger that pedal assist can be played with, no registration plates either I cannot help but think sadly they will be the future...

blocked carbs

Now for daft questions, have you tried a small drop off fresh fuel draining carb drains till you see fresh fuel and giving it a go? Fuel is funny thing I have a tank for my outboard made of plastic 2 days in sun is dodgy. A month in garage and it's fine. Metal fuel tank you might get away with it. Depending on a 1000 factors you might get lucky... Certainly some fresh fuel through hoses isn't going to do any harm. If that don't work next choice to me with carbs in that condition would be take them off and get them in sonic bath. A Proper clean. Replacing fuel hoses filters etc as well If not you could spend hours getting it almost right...
19. Interested in what trailer parts you used, and how your constructing frame...
20. I went through this afew years ago, cleaned my liner my helmet.. Smell intermittently just would not go away. Finally I tracked it down, one of my neck scarfs. I think it has escaped being washed for far too long
21. I would of said I don't know I have to find it via Google...
22. I could of added that as well but that would make me sound like I do work, an image I am not keen to project.
23. In future when someone asks what did you do during the great lockdown of 2020. What will you reply? For me it will be I watched every James Bond movie from beginning to end...
24. Just started using this on our fence and decking: https://www.smithandallan.com/products/wood-treatment/4485-smith-and-allan-cedol-wood-preserver-clear---decking-oil/ Cannot say long term but having used enough oils on various decks and chairs I have great expectations it goes on nice and soaks in well. They also do tung oil at £8.05/ ltr
