Feeling European is a sense of something other than happening to be on the same continent. We aren't in the EU, we don't use the euro, croissants are not a substantial breakfast... People from Hong Kong probably don't feel Chinese. 

 

And this is from someone relative euro-centric and like I say - didn't vote brexit - I love travelling.  It's just how I feel.

As I said other than the basic geography and genetics which make me European I have no feeling of being European emotionally. I certainly wouldn't identify with the EU, as that particular political construct I dislike a lot. If I travel abroad for pleasure (back in the mythical past) I prefer to go further afield. I do like mini breaks to various European cities though.
