Awful sorry to hear that and he works to pay for his bike which I'm sure is essential!

He's lucky that it was only a cheap(but good) cbr 125. .. Its the inconvenience and the fact his no cliams is now gone.

He was remarkably calm about it... If it was mine I would want bloodshed and revenge!

They will likely return for the replacement sorry to say 😔

He knows that .. He's getting a car until he moves from the area and gets a garage!

I had a car stolen when I was in New Zealand.

They were caught and I was asked if I wanted to meet with them as part of the Restorative Justice system.

I said I would love to as long as I could bring along my baseball bat!

I was not allowed to meet with them! ;)

I really, really, really hate thieves. It's the total arrogance of bast*rds who see no reason not to help themselves to stuff other people have actually worked for.

f*ckers.... need their hands cutting off .

1st offence lose a finger, second one lose a hand, if they offend a third time they definitely won't be around to do a fourth.

Ollerton .. A shithole of a place.

By coincidence I was in Ollerton yesterday. I've seen and lived in worse looking places. But you get thieves everywhere. Round where we live rural crime is rocketing.

The consequences of getting caught aren't an effective deterrent.

That’s the problem, they are not that bothered about police and punishments courts hand out it’s just an occupational hazard to them

I agree .. Steal £1500 from a bank and I'm sure you would get the Police all over it and if caught jail time! .. Steal a vehicle of the same value and the Police don't bother and if caught its a slap on the wrist!

It’s a weird thing. Somebody stole my bank details a few years ago and set up several direct debits in my name. It must have been possible to trace the perpetrators because these were for mobile phone contracts, insurance contracts. Stuff like that. Over £600 had been taken from my account before I noticed. Police were involved. Bank were involved. Honestly don’t think anything was ever done about it. I did get the money refunded by the bank which was all I was bothered about. … I know now that direct debits are set up by a 3rd party organisation without any reference to your bank. There is no check on signature. Or even your name. They just need account number and sort code. … my point is that it’s only the ones that aren’t tech savvy that bother actually stealing actual stuff. … the banking system, honestly it’s a thieves charter.

Good news! .. The Police have found his bike!

Bad news! .. According to the Police its in a "bad condition"!

They found it in Worksop, 10 miles away from where it was stolen.

Further update .. Police caught 2 scrotes riding it!

It will be interesting to see what they get charged with and what sentence/penalty, if any, they get.
