For me now it depends, offers of tea and biscuits. Depends on the job in hand and if I feel the need to wipe my feet in the way in or out...

God yes. Every ship I have been on for the last 40 odd years and they're even worse now as we get ones made in India or China which don't even have a sniff of butter and have the texture and taste of crispy cardboard. Yum.

Not usually in biscuits but flour can be a problem and breakfast cereals are the worse. Seeing little black specs backstroking around in the milk is a bit off-putting. Why I like porridge.

We had some in date flour from one of the cheapo stores, it had weevils and were weren't even at see.
