Saw this on twitter and as usual some people are judging the bikers actions!

What's your thoughts?

Twitter is toxic. Run!

The rider did well to react, the coach driver was a nob.

The rider would have been slightly better placed to deal with the situation if his positioning had been more Roadcraft  influenced, perhaps.... 🤔

Rewatching it again, I'm impressed the rider had capacity to use the horn. At that stage I'd be so absorbed in avoiding the collision that hitting the horn is the last thing I'd think of.

Of course on my better days I'd have gone for the gap between the coach and the truck.

obviously IAM trained, probably called the bus driver a bugger under his breathe , then pulled away with out doing a lifesaver and carried on with his journey to the  tea rooms which he had been researching and reading reviews on for 3 hours the evening before

FFS!! 😮 Fair play to the rider, kept his shit together and avoided what could have been a serious RTC ..... Hard to believe that bus drivers are allegedly classed as "professional drivers" on insurance proposals,  there was f--k all professional about that stunt, don't understand why some people were judging the biker?? job well done on his part....

If the numptys in the cars had overtaken the lorry one at a time miles back the coach driver may not have resorted to such a long and difficult overtaking manoeuvre .

Double yellow lines , so im presuming no over taking, cars, bike bus whatever, what should of happened if anything is lorry driver pull over if he could to let build up of traffic pass.

Very poor positioning for IAM trained. And it didn’t look like he was riding a BMW RT so that makes it most unlikely. 😉
