Steve_M Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I had to pop to Glasgow to help one of the kids prepare to move house. Motorway there but I decided to use a circuitous route home. This lay-by is on the edge of a village* called Sorn (there must a pun there) not too far from Moscow. *Shame it’s on the edge, otherwise it could have been the dead centre. I’ll get my coat. 1 3 Quote

Gerontious Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Found a rather large lay-by that was wonderfully empty and super convenient for me to take a few minutes in so that the average speed cameras could catch up. 1 3 Quote

I stopped on the A9 couple of years ago to admire a farmers gate. 2 2 Quote

Gerontious Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Heading for the Pfalz and these people with egg cup sized fuel tanks decided crisis was about to happen. Which left me with a perfect photo opportunity. 2 Quote
smallfrowne Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Not a layby! 5 seconds later a bus turned up, but turned off to the left before this stop, so the fact I ran away in fear was unwarranted. 2 Quote
Steve_M Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 I forgot to include the bike… but that’s the view across Lac Annecy this afternoon. 3 Quote
