That’s the one. The road to the south, from Langholm to Newcastleton is a nice little run. Single track with passing places, it’s not one for speed merchants but perfectly pleasant with fine views.

I'm always looking for alternative routes for my next trip to Scotland .

Seriously envious. We planted dozens of the things last year and no sign of any. Probably ‘cos we’re nearer the North Pole.

oh, and this stuff.

They’re nice looking machines in a retro way. I’d certainly like one in my “fantasy garage” as it would be ideal for pottering around the lanes.

I was very impressed with it.  Very civilised to ride, lovely gearbox, lovely gentle vibe free motor that has lots of torque.  Nothing better for a sedate bimble around.  Of course it's not fast but you wouldn't buy something like that to tear about on.  I fell for it on the 20 mile ride home from the dealership just lovely.  Don't think I would actually buy one but can appreciate it for what it is.

Looks a bit like William morris. Back in,  keep it.

Too late.

the paper has been on a variety of surfaces, most of them totally unsuitable for a downstairs toilet in a stone build part of the house.

Been debating whether to get one for mine or not!

I have the odd chip in the paint and I can see in time I will have to do something about it
