When we were first married our rented flat had no central heating (1980) and on one really cold winter we'd get frost like that on the inside of our bedroom window. We were tougher then!
bonio
Yup. One winter - was it 82-83? - it didn't melt for a whole month. When the thaw came, the warm air froze on the inside walls and covered them in ice too. Look at me now though - central heating and an electric blanket.

Tiggie
Got woken up through night by cat walking on my head. I remember thinking while still half asleep that it hurt a lot more than usual. This morning.........
S-Westerly
Ouch! Reason cats shouldn't be allowed in houses. My cousin's always climb on to my lap, purr for about 5 minutes and then stab their claws into my leg. Evil little shits.

S-Westerly
Egyptian sunset and Suez Canal. Quite a boring day but at least we are now in the cold, wet and windy Mediterranean. Can't say I'm loving it!
bonio
Coming up to the Suez Canal by road - wowzer that's weird - the sight of ships sailing over a sea of sand... 1
Steve_M
I had a bit of a run out on the bike yesterday. This is the road, Stang Top, running North from near Whaw (I’ve just noticed a place called Booze nearby). Worth riding if you’re visiting Tan Hill Inn, but beware that it has a few tricks up sleeve if you’re intending to “make progress”.
CB999
The Four Shire Stone looking half decent after its recent makeover, it stands just outside Moreton-in-Marsh and is the boundary marker that marks the place where the four historic English counties of Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire once met.
