1. The one that often pulls out good insurance is X years riding or driving no NCB We did this with misses car, it was cheaper than adding another car or changing cars. Then when we sold the car or was cheaper to cancel the insurance than any off the above. Plus new insurance on car gave deduction for having a NCB. As for multiple vehicles I drive in a relatively high risk industry for accidents. So much so when I changed carrers with extra driving training my insurance went up not down.... PS remember changing job title ie promotion can also be classed as change on policy for insurance. With charge for change in policy. They get you every which way... Presently waiting for bike insurance to run out so I can try again. Working between several bases they wanted to double my insurance to have 2 bikes for commuting....
2. Loving the suggestions, most of the mainline I have seen. Going to have to work out how to find some of the more obscure ones... Presently we are 1/2 way through the James Bond movies... Which do have agree bike seens in... A change is good.
3. Not surprised 3x one of the first to fall. My experience with them was not great, the bike sales / work shop across the way must be worried. I hear Cresent have picked up the Triumph dealership but not seen it confirmed..

All very good selling for that price, is of they find buyer at that price... I have a few bits that I am seeking, 1 book comes to mind, cheapest we could buy it for £100. I put on eBay 99p auction, it sells for 99p. Maybe had I of sat on it for months some one might of... Although I doubt it some sellers are plain greedy, know the price of everything and value of nothing.

If you can justify there are garages that are open that can and will MOT your bike...
7. Come on guys suggestions... There's a post for documentaries what about movies..
8. Alternative to trailer is parcel monkey. £10 overnight delivery most places in UK. Send some clean stuff to yourself half way through and return dirty stuff... Keeps bike light and makes travel easier. My mum when flying used to send her hold luggage to my sister by post it was cheaper and she did not have to carry it...
9. I think its H4 Bulb which would say Osram NIght braker,H4 Philips WhiteVision or similar are of the shelf offer some improvement. After that your into LED's or what ever not certain how much you'll get I have never bothered with this route...
10. Also works with electrical connections cut the end of condom out over connection tape up... That's why my dad have me condoms in the boat when I was not even a teen. I also happened to be the only one who would fit in the locker in the boat. And was lightest to winched up the mast..
11. Sod that I never got passed B Bikes, Booze, Bird and Boats is enough for me. Well I did skip a few with X for the wife and that was expensive enough... Prostitutes are probably cheaper...
12. I have it when it goes quite at work, I think I might be the 1 in last hour... It says FM I question if it actually has a built in radio... I will post up review when I have used it. fullscreenaging problem is where I live phone coverage is not great should we say...
13. Six30 your doing right thing but take your time.. Do not get down to last bit and put in your second bedroom to sort at home... Or 3 years later is still there untouched, don't ask how I know... A constant reminder..
14. At least you can clean a friend and frontline worker has just been told cleaning his car in the drive by Dorset Police. Apparently not essential...
15. Water proof phone, powered by bike mounted near instruments, Bluetooth to headset. Not paying out for Satnav and maps. Although would pay for TomTom nav app as well as Google maps. Often run both together. One in four ground one in background...

I think they where ahead of they're time. I keep pondering something similar but with modern hub drive motors used on electric bikes. A mini super light weight electric Ariel Atom/ Nomad. Capable of 40-50mph 40ish mile range. We would only need 1 car..
17. Can flames go through tiny gaps? Interesting question, I guess it depends on your definition of tiny. Í used to go caving, and considered any hole smaller than me tiny. Then when I worked with filters, until we got down to microns we where talking large dust. There is also I believe a certain element of depth/ thickness to this. Considering fire triangle: Fuel Oxygen Heat. If the material is thick enough or has good thermal conductivity it might absorb the heat and stop combustion? Are the tiny gaps so small as to stop the fuel in the flame from passng through. In another industry I worked in we fitted flame arrestors to tank vents said to stop external flames entering a tank containing volatile liquids. The flame arrestors looked like the gauze you use at school on Bunsen burners. Given more information I would gladly hypothesise more. Could you control pressure oxygen and risk as they do with diesel engines to create an auto ignition point? That's just idea, having not studied your design in depth. I would not want to be considered as stalking..
18. Because that would be £50+ for mounting kit and I am not swapping kits all the time... I would like helmet mounted is just easier.. I can find £20 but no radio I am sure I had seen better priced...
19. After this I must do the iow one just to say I have been on one..
20. Seriously I am taking bargin basement here is to go 1 mile up the road and home. I am using my old helmet for work as I don't want to bring bugs home with me... I am missing music, ideally radio. I do want exterior volume and power controls not on mic which I can find for £10... If someone has old unwanted set I maybe interested. I already have Cardo on my main helmet this is just for commuting and must be seriously cheap as misses not impressed with is
21. I have always sighted up the chain by eye, not using a tool. Also looking on the teeth of sprocket and chain incase one side shows wear. Looking to see if the chain is central on sprocket... Interesting to note the bikes with offsets and that it makes no difference to the handling.. Does it increase tyre wear?
22. My first thought when I saw a couple of these photos was the old joke about spikes on steering wheels...
23. I flue with BA once terrible flight, no rest . He just kept repeating "I said I ain't gettin' on no plane!"
24. You forgot not trimming cable ties. Then when discarding used cable ties, striped wire end, electric tape etc throwing them on the floor even better in loft insulation gravel, flower bed or scupper or drain to block them...
25. I have only seen the outside and rust on exposed pistons It's the oim original which is notoriously poor in function. The guys who got the replacements reported being able to lock the back wheel. Rather than just be able to stop the bike rolling backwards down a hill... Which would be good because on my other bike the back brake on my TDM is rather sharp. If I have been on the Trophy I often lock up the back wheel on the TDM. Riding companions have had a few scares as have pulled some dodgy manoeuvres...
