Looks smart though so maybe the zombies will be awed for long enough for you to make your escape from whatever Dead Lands you're currently permitted to visit. Anyway.....it's now sorted! Not by me I should point out.......cos I'm not temperamentally suited to using tools. Fish Posted November 20, 2020 Share Posted November 20, 2020 today on my bike..... I froze my nuts off. Looked out the window this morning and car windows had cold white stuff all over them, so thermals on with a pair of thicker socks and made my way to work. Only part that really got cold was tips of my toes and my hamstrings (anckle boots not tourers), but I think a thicker pair of socks should solve that. Learning every day. On the way home last night, just gone through Southam on an unlit A road doing about 50mph, flicked the headlight to main to be plunged into complete darkness, nothing , no headlight,dash or rear lights, aarrrggghhh. Fortunately I was only about 1/4 mile from a petrol station so carefully turned around and crept back. Found nothing obvious so rang OH and she drove out and followed me home and of course the lights worked. Took a look behind the LH side panel today where most of the wiring is and the main feed from the battery just fell apart in my hand.
