It will be fine, they can state they are supporting an elderly relative.

Childcare and garden sorting today.

Taking the bike out for a long run tomorrow to the coast, Hornsea, and back alone the coast road to Hull then over the bridge and home ... in the rain probably but who cares ....

Make sure Hornsea is alright before we are allowed to return.

Be careful locals will be out with the pitch forks again.

Your looking in the wrong places.

You were probably on the local Facebook page last weekend. Pics of bikers on the front.

They can't wait for the caravans to open up again on the 12th April.....

Cleaning the house today. Removing several weeks worth of diy dust and detritus.

I’ve had a  quick trip to a Screwfix for essential DIY supplies today, and then it’s back to making a new airing cupboard tomorrow. I get to use my new table saw, too. 👍

Out for a quickish ride this afternoon, family duties this morning. Cant decide if I prefer colour or b/w.

What an eventful weekend this has turned out to be!

Just got home from the in laws to investigate a leak!

A joint between copper pipe and lead pipe is leaking and under the floorboards in one of the bedrooms was like a swimming pool!

It was the hot side from the boiler so I have isolated it and drained the pipe to stop it leaking leaving them with no hot water till they can get a plumber out

Just get a lead lock fitting https://www.screwfix.com/p/compression-reducing-lead-to-copper-coupler-7lb-1-x-15mm/53125

Next size up is 22mm transition fitting.

Lead smelting.

Absolute nightmare. Dying art.

I've seen my dad do it several times and its no wonder old plumbers are so ill.

And this is the bit I am worried about!!

I hope they get someone in who knows what they are doing!
