Congratulations!

Thank you. This has been a long time waiting as things haven't been easy for our daughter and her husband. They have had a lot of heartbreak on the way. So it is wonderful to see her holding a baby girl.

Are we talking ladies or motorcycles?

I don't really ride my bike much these days. Might shop it in for a cheaper bike I wouldn't mind throwing down the track.

Being ill . I went for my Covid Booster on Wednesday and they offered me a Flu jab at the same time . I already had a mild cold so I did ask whether this was advisable . They said it would be fine . Well it's not fine . I've been doubled up wracked with uncontrollable coughing since Thursday . On Thursday evening I sat outside for a bit and coughed myself unconscious . I must have slumped sideways off my chair because when I came too with a horrible scream I had scraped my forehead right down the wall leaving a nasty abrasion . Thank God I haven't got pebbledashing . When I tried to get up I was overtaken with a terrible urge to vomit . Friday was basically a missed out day and I'm still in a rotten state now , coughing until my head explodes and aching all over while slipping in and out of horrible little pointless dreams . I've got no appetite and although I know I must , I don't want to drink anything . Can't even do my model planes because I keep making mistakes . So how's everyone else's weekend ?

Out for a ride to a suspension specialist to talk about a service and possible upgrades. Told the service wouldn't be an issue, but there would be no point using thicker oil  as it would make little to no difference. The recommendation was to spend circa £1500 replacing the front/rear setup. :o

Today was clay pigeon shooting, where I came second. Stupidly missed 8 targets. :(  On the plus side I got home and checked my emails to find out I've won £500 in vouchers for John Lewis. :)
