fastbob Posted November 12, 2022 Share Posted November 12, 2022 Being ill . I went for my Covid Booster on Wednesday and they offered me a Flu jab at the same time . I already had a mild cold so I did ask whether this was advisable . They said it would be fine . Well it's not fine . I've been doubled up wracked with uncontrollable coughing since Thursday . On Thursday evening I sat outside for a bit and coughed myself unconscious . I must have slumped sideways off my chair because when I came too with a horrible scream I had scraped my forehead right down the wall leaving a nasty abrasion . Thank God I haven't got pebbledashing . When I tried to get up I was overtaken with a terrible urge to vomit . Friday was basically a missed out day and I'm still in a rotten state now , coughing until my head explodes and aching all over while slipping in and out of horrible little pointless dreams . I've got no appetite and although I know I must , I don't want to drink anything . Can't even do my model planes because I keep making mistakes . Told the service wouldn't be an issue, but there would be no point using thicker oil as it would make little to no difference. The recommendation was to spend circa £1500 replacing the front/rear setup. Today was clay pigeon shooting, where I came second. Stupidly missed 8 targets.
