Prepping for Finnart when the office will descend and critique us to hell and gone. At least when it's all done I'll be signing off, hopefully still employed. Shortly after that dig out the bike and have some fun. All year round, all weathers for me. Although I do prefer to be dry and above freezing!

Off to North West Scotland via North East Scotland. Sadly not on the bike.

I don't blame you.  I was planning on a short ride out but its been raining.  The sun has come out briefly but I don't think it will stay dry for long but the weather says it will so fingers crossed

It's been wild. Not regretting the choice of transport. We were in Aberdeen last night, Oban now. Much nicer weather here.

Bet there are some really nice winding roads there and some nice views.  I love Scotland I was there in June this year.

Isn't that midge season? I have been there in June and got eaten alive.

Well because @fastbob has posted how much he is enjoying my old Dyna I know there is no chance of buying her back again.

As a result when I got rid of the Fatboy I have found this.

Believe it or not 2008 one owner and only 1557 miles since birth.

Checked all previous MOT`s and mileage is genuine so I have swooped !

Cheers

Torn between finish the brakes on the Pan and the deadline of March to finish the house :|

Either way. No going out for me.

Bought it and it`s at home awaiting new exhaust pipes and air filter.

I am under strict instruction to only do things to this one which can be reversed back to standard if needed.

Cheers

This weekend we are mostly hosting members of the family who own dogs. Yes, it’s Diwali and Guy Fawkes time. Lots of fireworks which the hounds find distressing so they visit us to escape the noise.

Paying the price for being a smug bast*rd. The evil weather gods listened when I said how nice it was off Florida a few weeks ago. We now have Severe Gale force 9, seas to match and snow ffs! Our speed is shite too. Life's a purple bitch.

This weekend I shall be fending off the attentions of rampaging schizophrenics and a new resident with a particularly interesting personality disorder and exciting behaviours

and trying to resist buying a new Mac, no doubt successfully, now that I’ve paid off my new phone.

apparently I’m risking death destruction and the end of the world as we know it by using a Mac that’s 11 years old. (They tell me)

I did tax the bike today which caused a crisis. I was forced to lie down in a darkened room and listen to Enya (on repeat) to deal with the trauma. £111 the robbing swines!!

It’s not easy. And it’s only Friday.

I’m not convinced listening to Enya will be any help when I tax my bike at the end of the month.

Beware  Maybe hes suffering the effects of buying a mac and having to tax his bike??

why have two when you can have three?

though admittedly one of them is running Linux. And the other is only being kept alive to run a game from 1996 that runs in DOS and I enjoy the perversion of playing old DOS games on a Mac. That really upsets Apple fanboys.

Trouble is I’ve turned into an Apple fanboy myself. But only because it gives me so little to fret about. And doesn’t sound like a jet that’s taxiing down a runway. Or act as a space heater.

I read that as crystal meth first time round 😂

Crystal Maze whilst on Crystal Meth would probably be an interesting weekend.
