Bender Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Tumble dry and straight onto hangers, does away with 99% of ironing, life's too short. Quote
Tiggie Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Approx 14 years ago I worked in a jewellers so clean shave and suit and tie was a prerequisite. The manager and myself used to wear jackets or a waist coat all year round so we didn't have to bother ironing shirts Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I've been to a local woods collecting pine cones, our daughter needs them for a school project. A couple kindly helped me pick some up (bike boots aren't great on slippery forest ground and they had walking boots on). Walking back to the car park they said they hoped she got a good mark for the project. I had to explain she's the teacher. It's for kids who don't get out into the countryside that she's doing the project for. Quote

I pay over £200 a month for the privilege of having:4 wheelie bins (paper, plastic and metal, garden rubbish and general waste that doesn't fit on the other ones) to be collected once a week on a 2 bin per 2 weeks for the garden and general waste then in between the paper and plastic/metal alternated, crap roads, idiotic traffic signsIce on the road during winter monthspaid parking on major towns and citiesLitter everywhereridiculous speed bumps that you can ride in between (even with the car)One thing the council offers for free and lots are potholes...
