Mississippi Bullfrog Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 I've just finished a job I do which entails residential stays in various areas. Three days from 7.30am to 1.30am the following morning so I'm knackered. I've got another stint over near Scarborough in July so I'm hoping the weather is decent when I ride over. 2 Quote

MikeHorton Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 We went last in October and went to the magpie the fish and chip were pretty amazing. A walk up the Abbey but sadly the smokehouse wasn't open the day we took a walk up, did sample some of the kippers at a nearby pub tho! Quote
MikeHorton Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 Just chopped in a couple of digital Bridge cameras and purchased a used Panasonic LUMIX DMC-G7 mirror less camera. I'm thinking health wise I need a new hobby while I'm not feeling too good so thought why not a bit of photography! 1 Quote

I'd love too but once I'm there the day starts at 7.30am and we plough through to 1.30am the next day. Even if I had the energy I think Whitby at 3.00am might be closed. Last time I was there we went via the N Yorkshire steam railway which was a good day out. Quote

MikeHorton Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 I nearly dropper off whilst watching the England Italy match last might. However it was played local to us at Wolves. Interesting post on Facebook Italian team did some training at the local council community pitch. Least some of the local kids got to see some of their footballing heroes. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Streetlifersofstourbridge/permalink/1655917601454991/?sfnsn=scwspmo&ref=share 1 Quote
rennie Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 Good Morning RAF Cosford air show is on today! We've heard stuff but not managed to see anything yet, sometimes they fly over our house on the way to/from RAF Shawbury 1 Quote

I remember when I worked at Kidderminster a few years back the b17 making a low pass. The display Eurofighter was doing circuits over Bridgnorth the other day most likely practicing Edited June 12, 2022 by MikeHorton 1 Quote
S-Westerly Posted June 13, 2022 Author Posted June 13, 2022 Good afternoon from another miserably wet day in China. 4 dry days in 15 and its playing holy hell with repair schedule. Earliest completion is early July which means FA chance of getting home before middle of July. Totally pissed off. 5 Quote
husoi Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 I'm gutted. Saturday got on the bike at 7:20am. Rode to Galashiels, Abington services to join the BACA chapter then head up to Manchester. Most of the day was spent riding. 9pm we headed up back home. Got home at 7am Sun I didn't managed to do a 24h run 1 Quote

Steve_M Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Look what’s turned up. I just need to tax it and carry out POWDERS checks before exploring some of the local roads on it. It’s a bit different to the GS. Speaking of the GS. Do I have to acknowledge other riders now? 3 Quote
