Being seriously lacking in gruntle at the moment I've been indulging myself in teenage angst and listening to some Swedish metal - Sabaton and sort of punk - Backyard Babies. Sad really for a man of my advanced years.

Did someone not like dio, mios dio 😁

@S-Westerly

I'm off to see offspring soon and no doubt feel very old 😂

Damon Albarn’s new album is beautifully melancholic. Love it.

Quite like Offspring, the kids used to play it in the car when I was driving around the country on their behalf.

Back in July I was seriously pissed off as I'd just found out I wasn't going to be relieved in Singapore and in fact it was 2 months later that I got off.

I've been listening to the deluxe edition of Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band  . Some really  beautiful stuff on here particularly some of the work in progress versions of well known songs . Penny Lane as an instrumental being one of them .

I never got the fab four.

Same here, though not sure why but their music ever appealed to me

Currently in a real D3ep.com mood for nice flowy bouncy beats, most likely not many here will enjoy it

Been listening to a lot of Foreigner lately. I'm a bigger fan of Lou Gramm than Kelly Hansen, but Hansen does have a good voice, don't get me wrong.

Back when I was in secondary school (between '95 and '02) I was in a band and we covered a few Offspring songs, aswell as Nirvana, Green Day, NOFX, Skunk Anansie, Radiohead, No Doubt, Smashing Pumpkins and others. Those were the days. Fantastic memories playing those songs in your mate's front room and live.

Ah yes!

Mate somehow I have managed to go through 37 years of life basically never listening to genesis. And I'm a big music fan. You have opened my eyes. This song bangs. Thank you!
