S-Westerly Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 The best I ever saw Cheddar Gorge was during lockdown in 2020. It was empty and great. I had a legitimate reason to be there. 1 Quote

Now try to convince Honda to get you parts for a US model.. Will need SKF (who actually supplies Honda) but no more dodgy brands. 1 Quote

There is lots of forestry work ongoing, so many back roads are muddy and churned up from the overweight log lorries. 1 Quote
Throttled Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Longest ride of the year so far, 2 hours up into Argyll. Road there was very busy, much quieter on the way back. 2 Quote

Steve_M Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Dropped the bloody thing. I stopped near Jedburgh to take a photo, put it on the side stand not noticing that the ground sloped forward slightly. Bloody thing rolled forward a couple of inches and slowly deposited itself on the ground with me taking as much weight as I could to ease the impact. No harm done but FFS… Anyway, here’s the photo. 4 Quote

Did the same with my old K1200S in Luxembourg. Nightmare and heart-breaking as it falls over. Got into the habit of putting it into first gear when parking after that. 1 Quote
Gerontious Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Removed the mount for my old zumo 660 and fitted the new one for the XT, taking the bike to the dealers on Tuesday to have the electrics done. Not something I want to mess with. I don't have a great history with bike electrics. 2 Quote
Fish Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Bought a Cardo Freecom 4X and fitted the mounts to my two lids. The JBL speakers sound ok around the house, but the test will be when I'm out over the weekend. The fitting pair for the second helmet are sadly not JBL's, and sound the worse for it. Quote
