Joe85
Right, i need the opinion of the great and the good of TMBF: Standard mirrors or bar-end mirrors? Edited February 1 by Joe85
Simon Davey
Bar-end give it quite an aggressive look, they look good and only add a little extra width.
Old-codger
Sorry dont like the bar end mirrors its the standard mirrors for me.
Pie man
I prefer the Standard ones too. Not a fan of bar end mirrors, never seen the point of them.
Nick the wanderer
Aesthetically the standard mirrors for me. But I'd go for the ones that work the best, no point looking good if all you can see is your elbows.
RideWithStyles
Std for so many reasons, those std ones look quite abit adjustable compared to the normal ones you get. i agree with nick but if thou no point if you cant filter with wide bessie. sure someone will say : you only need to look behind you if your slow. .

Kirkby to Sedbergh to Brough to Middleton in Teesdale. Nice on a summer day. Not at this time of year! I was passing Devil’s Bridge on Sunday on my return from a little bimble when I got snapped. Not a bad day for a ride. A bit chillier than forecast but dry. Edited February 1 by Steve_M

S-Westerly
Standard mirrors get my vote. Rarely like the look of bar end mirrors.

Fiddlesticks
A while ago, I bought a Bluetooth OBD tool to plug into the car and connect to my Android phone. Today, I plugged it into the Triumph Tiger Explorer and connected it to my Windows laptop. With the help of some software kindly provided on the Tiger Explorer forum, I reduced my service intervals (who goes 10k miles between oil changes?!) and reset the little service warning spanner on the dash.

May I ask what year your Tiger is? I could do with similar for my 2023 GT Pro. Cheers Ian

Mine's a 2013 (Gen 1). The software is TigerTool. Might be worth a try.
Joe85
Standard mirrors it is then. I’ve ordered the required reservoir holder but it’ll be a few weeks yet, so preening bodybuilder/bullhorns look it is for a while yet. Dropped it off for a PPF application. Too much carbon to leave it unprotected.
