Of course it's a coincidence the soon to be completed wheelie bin storage is big enough to store my bike ...🤣

Nope! Never lied to my OH on anything, can't really see the point and once you start it goes downhill very quickly, if you feel you need to lie then you're with the wrong person or at the very least have no respect for them.

I think your taking this thread a tad seriously 😁

My wife knows full well when I tell her I'm watching porn I'm looking at tools or bikes or cars.

Most of my purchases whether its for bikes cars or new tools normally happen when the wife is at work!

When she walks in I just smile and say Love you!

She then just asks how much I have spent

The purchases when she is in I just forget to tell her then I am just as surprised as her when a parcel turns up as I normally forget too

One of my step-daughters used to work in the accounts department for Snap-On. Many a mechanic insisted invoices were sent to to work so the wife / partner didn’t see how much their tools cost.

It's all you can do really.

Wife begrudgingly understands that once I get something in my head, I usually get it.

Sometimes she's alright about it, sometimes there's a week or so of the silent treatment.

Of course I never exceed the speed limit.

I do the "I'm only doing 60" as she is peering over my shoulder looking at the speedo

No, she just has a thing against bikes. She won't ride with my son or son in law either. Spent years as a nurse working in a Leonard Cheshire home with several  residents paralysed after offs.
