Tip for the day - when chopping fresh chillies from the greenhouse to dry and store make sure you wash your hands very very thoroughly before going to the loo.

Don't ask how I know.

Not sure if this post shouldn't be under nob of the day but it's possible it could be misconstrued. You can add don't be absently minded to rub your eye either.

Good evening, I think I may have found my keyboard, it's twice what I would have spent on a cheap used one but it seems to have all the features I want and need, bear in mind this one is going to be used mainly to create my backing tracks for the videos but it is also good enough to stand me in good stead for when I get my proper piano :thumb:

So I drive 400+ miles to take my 87 year old dad to a hospital appointment because the letter said he needed to be accompanied and had to be monitored after the procedure.

He's all done in twenty minutes and I'm not needed. Turns out it was a generic letter that doesn't apply to him.

Brilliant!

This won't be everyone's cup of tea but if you want to see some incredible Keyboard playing check this band out.   Skip to approx 4:15 for the Keyboard solo.  The Guitar player and Drummer are fantastic too

I wish I'd bought a decent keyboard instead of a piano.

It takes probably a couple of hours to tune the thing up which lasts a year max before it goes out of tune. Plus a keyboard can be stored away rather than gathering dust for the majority of it's life.

One of the reasons I am getting a keyboard is portability and easier to store, and in the summer and autumn evenings if nice I can take it outside and annoy the neighbours even more

If that`s your motivation have you considered bagpipes?

I kid you not there used to be a fella in the Bedfordshire village of Harold who would practise in his back garden and he was way less than talented lol.

Cheers

I bought my wife an electric piano. Not cheap but worth every penny. Never needs tuning and can be set to various modes. She can record her practice sessions which means she's been able to continue lessons online over lockdown.

Plus she can plug in earphones and practice silently.

Evening all

Been a bit of a sobering day today!

I was back markering for a fallen riders final ride

A mates brother who was a service police officer was sadly killed a few weeks back the procession was police escorted with no stopping and all traffic stopped

They wanted an easy to spot bike bringing up the rear so the HUGE BMW badge served a purpose!

There must have been at least 60 -70 bikes there

Good morning my planned ride out for Sunday has been cancelled and possibly moved to Monday but more than likely the following Sunday, because my keyboard is coming :yay:    I was able to get a Sunday delivery otherwise it would have been the following Saturday :thumb:

Just found a pdf manual for it.
