Mickly
But Marmite as a drink is lovely. Used to have it as a kid on cold days & forgotten what it was like. Just came in from a brisk cold walk & made this mug of loveliness - heaped teaspoon of Marmite & boiling water - delicious !! Why this has never had a mention on any adventure motorcycle material beats me.

Because I for one would sooner drain the sump and drink warm oil

Trooper74
When i was a boy i went to swimming club all year round at Pickie Pool, Bangor, Northern Ireland. It was an outdoor un heated swimming pool. From October to March we where given large mugs of hot Marmite and sometimes Bovril after swim training .... Anything tasted good after an hour in the freezing water ... and sometimes snow ! We must have been mad ...!!!
Mississippi Bullfrog
Funnily enough this came up at our last ride. What is the difference between Marmite and Bovril? I'm pretty sure I've only seen Bovril as a drink whilst Marmite gets spread on toast.

Bovril is a beef extract with even more salt than Marmite. 1
Ian Frog
If you like Bovril may I suggest you try the French version called Viandox I think it tastes stronger and better which probably means it`s worse for you but hey ho ! Now sometimes seen in British supermarkets. Cheers Ian

When it got questioned answer was simple they are Australian with no taste.. other top tip with Marmite: When enjoy our jar on side it's easy to get the last bit out... it's the one just we cannot put in good recycling bin till it goes out one of our dogs sniffs it out. Mr Fro
Have you tried Maggi? It's a bit like runny marmite so you can slather it all over your food.
